Family Playdates with Purpose

Honey Bee Hollow Kids was born out of heartfelt conversations between Mimi and the families in her care. These parents often shared how difficult it was to find meaningful weekend activities to enjoy with their children. Recognizing this need, Mimi decided to bring the magic of her classroom into the community, creating a mobile classroom where the focus is on sensory-rich activities, play-based learning, and family bonding.

We’re bringing the classroom to the community!

 

Our events are specifically designed for children ages one through five, but we’re always happy to welcome older or younger siblings so the whole family can stay together and play. We pop up at local parks and neighborhood venues to set  up high-quality, sensory-rich environments where the children take the lead from the moment they arrive. Each session is rooted in purposeful, play-based themes, but we leave the discovery entirely up to the child. We believe that when children are given the freedom to follow their own curiosity, they build more than just skills—they build confidence.

From curated tactile bins to open-ended process art, we provide a space where kids can dive into different textures and activities at their own pace. There are no rigid schedules here; instead, we offer a "play place" where families can slow down, connect, and explore together. It’s intentional learning that looks and feels like pure, hands-on play, allowing your little one to navigate their first friendships and natural wonders in a way that feels organic and fun.

Children learn to navigate their first friendships and build emotional confidence through shared discovery. At Honey Bee Hollow for Kids, we are dedicated to helping parents and children slow down and enjoy the simple, beautiful moments of childhood together.
